VNU University of Economics and Business and VnEconomy signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

On February 1, 2024, University of Economics - Hanoi National University signed a memorandum of cooperation with Vietnam Economic Review.



The signing ceremony was attended by the top leaders of both organizations. The UEB delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le, Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh -, Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu, - Vice Rector; and representatives of Faculties/Institutes and functional departments.

The VnEconomy delegation was led by Dr. Chu Van Lam, Editor-in-Chief, along with reporters and editors of the Current Affairs and Economic, and Education sections.

VnEconomy is a multi-platform media agency with nearly 35 years of experience in economic information and scientific research. It produces content and organizes forums, conferences, seminars, and talk shows at various levels and scales. VnEconomy pioneers in developing digital platforms for interactive media and communication, connecting stakeholders, and promoting cooperation to contribute to Vietnam's socio-economic development.

In the future, UEB and VnEconomy will

- Disseminate information and in-depth economic analysis to government agencies, investors, the business community, and especially large economic organizations and corporations.

- Share information and provide professional materials to support each other's activities.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Chu Van Lam, Editor-in-Chief of VnEconomy, highly appreciated the strong development of UEB and emphasized the long-standing relationship between the editorial board and the university. He also affirmed that the two sides still have many points that can complement each other in their purposes and operating principles.

“The strength of the university is research, while the strength of VnEconomy is knowledge dissemination. We must closely connect the research process and results with the dissemination of those results,” emphasized Dr. Chu Van Lam.

“In addition to disseminating information, VnEconomy is also a source of data for lecturers and experts of the university to enrich their knowledge. To help students improve their ability to collect economic data, Dr. Chu Van Lam expressed his belief that with the establishment of many relationships with large enterprises and organizations like VnEconomy, UEB will have even stronger progress in the future. The leader of VnEconomy also said that they are ready to receive excellent students from UEB to intern and work at the editorial board,” added Dr. Chu Van Lam.

On behalf of the UEB leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le, Party Secretary and Chairman of the University Council, affirmed that the establishment of a cooperative relationship with VnEconomy is an important event for the university's development.

“VnEconomy is a professional prestigious magazine. Before the transition from Vietnam Economic Times to VnEconomy, it did a very good job of organizing economic events. Since the model conversion, the leadership of the magazine has oriented to increase the professional content and depth of the publications. Therefore, UEB is very eager to cooperate with VnEconomy on this,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le.

The event took place successfully in a solemn and warm atmosphere, marking the cooperative relationship between the VNU University of Economics and Business and the Vietnam Economic Times/VnEconomy will achieve many successes, bring many meaningful and practical results for readers nationwide, and open up more job opportunities for UEB students.
