EMPLOYMENT/EXPERIENCE

Dr. Nguyen Duc Bao is currently the Deputy Director in charge of the Institute of International Training, concurrently holding the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Scientific Research and Development Cooperation, lecturer of the Department of Economic Management, Faculty of Political Economy. Dr. Duc Bao received his Bachelor's degree with Distinction in Foreign Economics from Hanoi Foreign Trade University in 2014. Through a scholarship from the Government of the Republic of France, Dr. Duc Bao received his Master's degree in International Economics and Finance and his PhD in Economics from the University of Bordeaux (France) in 2015 and 2019, respectively. Before becoming a lecturer at the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in August 2020, Dr. Duc Bao undertook teaching and research at the Institute of Applied Economics (GREThA), University of Bordeaux. Dr. Duc Bao has participated in many research consulting activities in international research cooperation projects at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO Asia-Pacific) and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). Dr. Duc Bao's research focuses on international trade, globalization, regionalization, the state's role in a market economy, development economics, and agricultural economics.
