On December 5th, 2020, the delegation of the School of Business Administration, VNU University of Economics and Business had a meeting with the People's Committee of Ca Mau.
On behalf of the People's Committee of Ca Mau, Mr. Le Quan - Provincial Party Committee Deputy Secretary, President of the People's Committee of Ca Mau, together with Mr. Mai Hoang Anh - Deputy Chief of Office, welcomed the delegation of VNU-UEB, including Assoc.Prof. Hoang Van Hai - Dean of the School of Business Administration, PhD. Vu Thi Minh Hien - President of the Union of the School of Business Administration and other members.
Mr. Le Quan mentioned several issues on investment, trade, and tourism potential, especially strong goods and services in the province. Identifying those matters would be of help in finding a way to unlock the potential of the non-smoke tourism industry. Representing the School of Business Administration, Mr. Hoang Van Hai also introduced outstanding training and consulting products of the School of Business Administration in particular and the University of Economics and Business in general. The two parties can do research and cooperate in socio-economic development research programs, training programs for managers, and improve the quality of local human resources.
After working with the People’s Committee of Ca Mau, the delegation continued to visit for examining a regional economic model, meeting and exchanging ideas with Mr. Ngo Minh Toai, Vice President of the People’s Committee of Ngoc Hien District.
The business trip helped pave the way for future opportunities for cooperation between the University of Economics and Business in general, the School of Business Administration in particular with the province in its program to awaken the potential for development in Ca Mau.
