University of Economics and Business - VNU directly enrolls 100 targets BBA Course 3


VNU - University of Economics and Business announces DIRECT ADMISSION for 100 slots based on the results of the 2023 High School Graduation Examination for one of the four subject combinations A01, D01, D07, D08, with a score of 20/30 or above and an English language result of 6.5/10 or higher. Successful applicants can enter the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program, a regular university program, jointly awarded with St. Francis University (USA) for the 3rd Cohort (2023-2027).
Here are the specific details of the admission process:
1. Number of Slots: 100 students.
2. Study Program: The BBA program is awarded by St. Francis University and follows the entire curriculum framework assessed in the USA, including 40 courses and 121 credits. The program is fully taught in Vietnam.
For the 3rd cohort in 2023, students can choose from the following specializations:
- Double Majors: International Business and Supply Chain Management
- Marketing
- Finance
- International Business
- Supply Chain Management
Students who wish to transfer to St. Francis University in the USA need an international English certificate with a minimum score of IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 79. They should have completed at least two consecutive semesters with courses registered by St. Francis University. The overall GPA must be at least 2.5/4.0.

3. Admission Methos and Conditions:
3.1. Method 1: Admissions based on the 2023 High School Graduation Examination results satisfying the following three conditions:
- Condition 1: Applicants must achieve a score of 20/30 or above in the 2023 High School Graduation Examination through one of four admission combinations, including Math, Physics, English (A01); Math, Literature, English (D01); Math, Chemistry, English (D07); Math, Biology, English (D08). The English subject score in the High School Graduation Exam should be 6.5 or higher. Scores in other subjects in the 2023 High School Graduation Exam should be 5.0 or higher.
- Condition 2: The average yearly GPA in high school must be at least 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or 2.50 on a 4.0 scale).
- Condition 3: An international English certificate equivalent to level 4 on the Vietnamese Competency Framework for Foreign Languages (VSTEP) must be obtained: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 72, valid for up to 2 years.
3.2. Method 2: Admissions based on the 2023 University Entrance Examination for Aptitude Assessment by Hanoi National University.
- Condition 1: Applicants must achieve a score of 80/150 or above in the Aptitude Assessment Examination organized by Hanoi National University.
- Condition 2: The average yearly GPA in high school must be at least 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or 2.50 on a 4.0 scale).
- Condition 3: An international English certificate equivalent to level 4 on the Vietnamese Competency Framework for Foreign Languages (VSTEP) must be obtained: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 72, valid for up to 2 years.
3.3. Method 3: Direct admission when applicants satisfy two conditions:
- Condition 1: The average yearly GPA in high school is at least 8.0 on a 10-point scale (or 3.50 on a 4.0 scale). The remaining semesters should have a GPA of at least 7.0/10 (or 3.0 on a 4.0 scale).
- Condition 2: An international English certificate is required, with a minimum score of IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 72, or B2 CEFR, valid for up to 2 years from the application date.
3.4. Method 4: Admissions based on the high school transcript when applicants meet three conditions:
- Condition 1: The average yearly GPA in high school is at least 6.5 on a 10-point scale (or 2.5 on a 4.0 scale).
- Condition 2: The total average score for three subjects throughout the 12th grade must be 21.0 or higher, with a minimum score of 7.0/10 in English. The following subject combinations are included:
+ A01: Math, Physics, English
+ D01: Math, Literature, English
+ D07: Math, Chemistry, English
+ D08: Math, Biology, English
+ D09: Math, History, English
+ D10: Math, Geography, English
+ D84: Math, Civic Education, English
- Condition 3: An international English certificate equivalent to level 4 on the Vietnamese Competency Framework for Foreign Languages (VSTEP) must be obtained: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 72, or B2 CEFR, valid for up to 2 years from the application date.
4. Direct Admission Time and Location: From September 1, 2023, to October 15, 2023, at Room 106, Building E4 - University of Economics, National University of Hanoi - 144 Xuan Thuy - Cau Giay - Hanoi. The process includes:
Part 1: Receiving applications, evaluating admission criteria, and addressing inquiries from parents and students about the Bachelor of Business Administration program at St. Francis University, Cohort 3.
Part 2: Guiding the completion of the admission process at the University.
Part 3: Announcing conditional admission results on October 15, 2023.

5. Degree:
- To graduate, students must accumulate at least 121 credits, with a minimum average GPA of 2.5/4.0 for general knowledge and 2.0/4.0 for business and major subjects.
- Graduates receive a regular Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from St. Francis University in the USA, which is recognized by the Quality Assurance Department, Ministry of Education and Training.
- The diploma and transcript are identical to those awarded to students studying and graduating in the USA.
6. Duration of Study: 4 years, equivalent to 8 semesters. Each academic year consists of two semesters: Spring and Fall.
7. Language of Instruction: English.
8. Training Location: University of Economics, National University of Hanoi.

10. Tuition Fees:
- Admission fee: 2,360,000 VND per student (equivalent to 100 USD).
- Tuition fee (for the standard 121-credit program, following the 4-year schedule in Vietnam): 341,822,400 VND per student (equivalent to 14,484 USD).
- Scholarship Note: Students admitted to Cohort 3, Fall 2023, are eligible for a scholarship of 52,038,000 VND per student (equivalent to 2,205 USD). This scholarship will be deducted directly from the fees in subsequent semesters when studying at the University of Economics.
- After the scholarship deduction, the tuition fee for a standard course is 289,784,400 VND (equivalent to 12,279 USD).
- Graduation assessment fee: 2,832,000 VND per student (equivalent to 120 USD), payable when registering for graduation.
- Graduation ceremony fee: 4,720,000 VND per student (equivalent to 200 USD).
- Tuition fees are collected through bank transfer.
+ Training fees and other fees are collected in Vietnamese dong. The rate may change based on the exchange rate of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) at the time of payment.
+ Temporary exchange rate: 1 USD is equivalent to 23,600 VND (based on the exchange rate of VietinBank on January 17, 2023).
Note: The tuition fee above (before scholarship deduction) is approximately 28.17% of the tuition fee for studying at St. Francis University in the 2023-2024 academic year. Students who transfer to study at St. Francis University in the USA will be required to pay tuition fees according to the regulations of St. Francis University applicable in the USA for the corresponding transfer year. Students have the opportunity to receive a scholarship equivalent to 25% of the tuition fees at St. Francis University if they maintain a GPA of at least 3.0/4.0.
