On 26th August 2009 in Halong City, annual conference between Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) and Vietnam National University, Hochiminh City (VNUH) was held and presided by VNU.
The conference was in the aim of summarizing cooperation activities between the two universities in the academic year 2008-2009, and building the plan of missions in new academic year 2009-2010. At the conference, University of Economics and Business - VNU and International University - VNUH signed cooperation agreement on community culture development and brand name strategy building for the two colleges.
Also at the conference, there were some speeches about cooperation activities between VNU and VNUH. Assoc.Prof.Dr Phung Xuan Nha - Rector of the UEB addressed a speech, which clarified the role of developing university brand name in international economic integration context. The speech gained high interest from delegates at the conference.
Within the framework of conference program, several member units of the two national universities signed bilateral cooperation agreements, including agreement between University of Economics and Business - VNU and International University - VNUH on community culture development and brand name strategy building for the two colleges. This is important cooperation agreement, building a base for the profound cooperation and development relationship between two members of two national universities. Prof.Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan - President of VNU and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Thanh Binh - President of VNUH and representatives of heads of two national universities’ units witnessed the signing ceremony.
