The event was attended by members of the Association of Former Lecturers, including former leaders and former lecturers, staff, and workers of the school from different periods. Representing the school were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Trúc Lê - Party Secretary and chairman of the University Council; Associate Professor Dr. Lê Trung Thành - Rector; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Anh Thu - Vice-Rector; Dr. Phạm Minh Tuấn - Vice-Rector, along with representatives of the school's departments, institutes, offices, and centers.

At the meeting, delegates and members revisited the traditions of Vietnam Teachers' Day on November 20th, reminiscing about their years in education and encouraging each other to continue leveraging their intellectual potential, contributing opinions, advice, and critiques on educational activities, scientific research, and technology; participating in cultural and arts exchange activities, providing each other with emotional support, and helping each other in times of difficulty, fulfilling their civic duties.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Trúc Lê announced the achievements and main tasks of the past academic year and affirmed that these results were due to the contributions and dedication of the collective leadership, faculty, and workers over different periods. He also expressed gratitude to the former lecturers: “Thanks to the guidance and foundation laid by our former lecturers, the University of Economics and Business has achieved today's successes. On November 20th, the school wishes our teachers good health, happiness, and always a smile.”

Speaking at the event, Associate Professor Dr. Lê Trung Thành - Rector of the school, conveyed congratulations and gratitude to the former lecturers. He said this occasion allowed different generations of educators to reflect on the proud past of the school with a rich tradition, appreciate the former lecturers, and remind the current generation of the school's historical lessons to aim for greater achievements, worthy of the trust and expectations of previous generations. “With nearly 50 years of inheriting and developing traditional educational values, the University of Economics and Business - VNU has achieved significant successes, recognized and awarded by the Party, State, and Government with numerous prizes, medals, and prestigious titles. These achievements are inseparable from the contributions and tireless dedication of the school's faculty and staff over many generations, who laid the first 'brick' in building a solid foundation, enabling dreams to soar.”

Professor Dr. Phí Mạnh Hồng - Chairman of the Association of Former Lecturers, expressed his emotion for the caring and heartfelt attention of the school's leaders towards the former lecturers. He was also moved to reminisce with the leaders and staff of UEB about the early days of the University of Economics and Business - VNU, from its inception to its current growth and development.

The meeting concluded in a joyful, warm atmosphere, leaving deep emotions in the hearts of the school's various generations of faculty and staff. Wishing good health to the former lecturers, the school hopes they will always maintain a close relationship with the school, their shared home at the University of Economics and Business, VNU.
