In the afternoon of 5th June 2012, the Faculty of Finance - Banking of VNU University of Economics and Business held a conference to summarize the plan implementation of academic year 2011 - 2012.
Attending the meeting are Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son - UEB Rector, Dr. Vu Anh Dung - Vice Rector, Heads of UEB offices, lecturers staff of Faculty of Finance - Banking.
To start the conference, Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Associate Dean has summarized achievements that the faculty gained in the academic year 2011 - 2012, emphasizing the outstanding accomplishments of the faculty besides mission plan assigned by the Management Board. In the last academic year, the faculty has won a state level research project; successfully organizing international conferences and Finance - Banking students contest, career orientation dialogues for students - Career Talk; completing vocational guidance scheme for Finance - Banking students by work posts …
According to its self-evaluation, the faculty has completed approximately 90% of academic year’ mission plan and had breakthrough steps compared to the previous academic year.

Following up, Dr. Quach Manh Hao - Faculty Dean has presented the mission plan for academic year 2012 - 2013. The presentation details key duties of the academic year, specifically: launching doctorate training program and international joint training program in financial - banking master degree, participating governmental research project bidding, having articles published on international science journals…
At the conference, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son highly appreciates efforts of the faculty in the last year, especially activities that have popularized in the faculty and university. He also expressed the expectations and trust that in the coming year, the Faculty of Finance - Banking will have more achievements in education, training and scientific research, equivalent to its potentiality and strengths.
UEB functional offices offer advices for the faculty about achievements gained and plans for the coming year
Before concluding the meeting, on behalf of all lecturers and staff of the faculty, Dr. Quach Manh Hao has expressed his gratitude to UEB Management Board and all relevant functional units who have facilitated at most for the faculty to accomplish its mission plan of the last year. He also hoped to continually receive more attention and support to realize targets identified for the coming year.
