In his speech at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phung Xuan Nha, Rector of the UEB congratulated the new graduates and affirmed: “Students have made important contributions to the success of the UEB, and at the same time have been the first outcomes of the college in the process of the development of the college from a faculty… On behalf of the college’s leadership, I highly appreciate your efforts and performance… I strongly believe that with your knowledge, talent, energy and enthusiasms, you will soon gain success. I hope that wherever you go, whatever you do, you will continue to accompany with the college to build and confirm the college’s status within and without the country. This is not only the pride of the college’s but yours also”.

At the ceremony, Vice President of VNU, Prof.Dr.Sc. Vu Minh Giang awarded Certificate of Merits signed by President of Vietnam National University, Hanoi to Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, student of the Honors program, who was the highest ranking graduate. She was the only student of the UEB to receive the Certificate of Merits this time and to be given many awards in this ceremony: Certificate of Merits signed by President of VNU and Certificate of Tran Van Tho scholarship for excellent student.

Then, the Rector and Vice Rector of the UEB awarded Certificate of Merits and prizes to 27 students who graduated with distinction, 4 students for their good study results and contributions to Youth Union’s activities, 3 students who got good study results instead of difficulties. Two Tran Van Tho scholarships were also awarded to two other excellent students.

Honorly and proudly, student Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc on behalf of all students of the UEB expressed the sincere thanks to leaderships of the VNU, the UEB and all professors, the college’s staffs who created favorable conditions for students to study, to improve knowledge for the future and committed to continue studying and becoming good citizens of the society.
