Since the UEB was established as a university directly under Vietnam National University, Hanoi (2007), this is the first time one fulltime lecturer of the UEB has met the criteria of the Professor Title - Lecturer Phan Huy Duong. He hasbeen working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Political Economics, UEB.
Reportedly, the new Associate Professor Nguyen Viet Khoi, who was born on 24^th April 1979, UEB, was one of the two youngest lecturers recognized as Associate Professor  Title in Economics in 2014.
With the strategic goal of becoming one of the top research-oriented universities in Vietnam, leaders ofthe UEB always create favorable conditions, good working environment for scientists and lecturers who are working at the University to improve their teaching and research capacity. Especially, the UEB has always been considered as a pioneer among VNU units in particular and training institutions across the country in general for the development of Professor/Associate Professors. In recent years, the number of Professors and Associate Professors has strongly increased; the proportion of Professors/Associate Professors is over 20% of the whole lecturers of the University.
This success affirmedthat the UEB has been deserved to be a prestige destination for continuously nurturing the passion and creativity of the generations of lecturers, scientists, staff, fellows  graduates and students.
The Certificate awarded Ceremony of the Title of Professor and Associate Professor in 2014 will be officially held at the Literature Temple (Van Mieu), Quoc Tu Giam on 4^th February 2015.
