In the merry and cheerful atmosphere of the New Year 2015 and Lunar New Year of At Mui, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, UEB Rector sent the best greetings to all staff, lecturers, fellows, postgraduates, and students who have been working/studying at VNU University of Economics and Business. The messages of 2015 New Year’s Greetings are as follows:
On the occasion of the New Year 2015, on behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Management of the VNU University of Economics and Business, I cordially would like to send to the whole staff, lecturers, fellows, postgraduates and students together with their family warmest esteem and best wishes.
In 2014, although we had to face with various challenges and difficulties regarding infrastructure, human resources transfer, changes and adjustments in training regulations (both national and international-joint training programs)…, all staff, lecturers, fellows, postgraduates and students of the University are always consistent with the development goal of a research-oriented university. The University has gained important achievements in training, scientific research, policy consultancy and consulting activities for localities, businesses as well as fulfillment of the university organization structure.
The year 2014 is coming to an end, marking a 40-year journey of tradition, development and growth; affirming its strength and initially building its own brand through the linkage between training and research, theories in association with practices (policies, enterprises/businesses, and localities), nationally and internationally.
The above mentioned achievements have been gained thanks to the solidarity, discipline, passion for creativity, dedication as well as high sense of responsibility and outstanding efforts of the UEB’s staff, lecturers, fellows, postgraduates and students. Those are also due to attentive direction and timely encouragement as well as support of VNU leaders and relevant ministries, departments and agencies, the effective cooperation of domestic and international partners. On behalf of Party Committee and the Board of Management of VNU-UEB, I would like to express my sincere thanks and high appreciation for the great efforts, solidarity of all UEB’s staff, lecturers, fellows, postgraduates and students. Additionally, I also would like to thank VNU, relevant ministries, departments as well as domestic and international partners.
The New Year 2015 is expected to be a significant year for the University’s development, towards Congress Party at all levels, including the 4th Congress Party, for adjusting strategies, plans and creating necessary conditions for a new period of deeper, more break-though and more sustainable development.
We are welcoming the New Year 2015 and Lunar New Year of At Mui with good news and opportunities as well as challenges; together with solidarity tradition, innovative and creative spirit, great efforts and promoting achievements gained in the previous years. I believe that the year 2015 will be an especially significant year to our University, marking a milestone of continuous development; affirming its position as well as brand with an innovative, principle and professional learning/working environment.
Echoing the joyful atmosphere of the New Year 2015, once again I would like to send to all the UEB’s staff, lecturers, fellows, postgraduates, and students together with their family warmest greetings of good health, happiness and new successes.
