Within the framework of professional activities of the strong research group (NCM) at the VNU level in 2023, the NCM group "Fuzzy set theory and optimal decision-making models in economics and management" led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luu Quoc Dat chaired and organized the training course "Improving academic professional capacity on fuzzy set theory and optimal decision-making models in economics and management" in November - December 2023. The training course is organized to improve the research capacity of research team members and to share and exchange academic knowledge with young lecturers, graduate students, and students inside and outside VNU University of Economics and Business.

The training course is conducted by a team of lecturers with experience in scientific research and application of quantitative research models, including: Associate Professor, PhD. With a total of 12 training/practice sessions, the training course attracted 600 interested lecturers, trainees, staff and students (in person and online).

| With the development orientation of a multidisciplinary, research university model, Hanoi National University (VNU) has paid attention to building and developing NCM groups. Research group "Fuzzy set theory and optimal decision making models in economics and management" - led by Assoc.
