On 3rd January 2014, Faculty of Finance and Banking (FFB) had a year-end meeting to evaluate P3 and a farewell party for Dr. Quách Mạnh Hào, who is the former Dean of FFB. Simultaneously, the decision to delegate the works of Dean of FFB to Dr. Lê Trung Thành – Associate Dean of FFB was announced in the meeting.
The participants of the meeting are Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn – Rector of University of Economics and Business, Ma. Cảnh Chí Dũng – Head of Human Resource Office and all the staff, lecturers of FFB.
During the P3 reviewing meeting, Leaders of FFB straightforwardly pointed out strengths and weaknesses of each individual and also gave some suggestions for the objectives of the following year to all staff and lecturers. In conclusion, FFB had 3 officers evaluated to successfully complete tasks, 10 officers completed tasks well and 4 officers completed tasks in the year.

and best wishes to Dr. Quách Mạnh Hào
Following was the farewell party for Dr. Quách Mạnh Hào and the decision for Dr. Lê Trung Thành. In the farewell, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn recognized and appreciated all the results that Dr. Quách Mạnh Hào had devoted to FFB. The Rector emphasized that Dr. Quách Mạnh Hào was an example of professional and reasonable manners, who had always assured the progress of all works. During his working time at FFB – UEB, Dr. Quách Mạnh Hào with Leaders of FFB attracted many important partners such as Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Deposit Insurance of Vietnam, Long Beach College - California State University and so on. These achievements helped students and lecturers to have new scholarships and to renovate facilities of FFB and UEB. On the behalf of UEB, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn thanked Dr. Quách Mạnh Hào for the dedications to FFB and also wished him and his family all the best.
Dr. Quách Mạnh Hào sent the most respectful gratitude to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn – Rector of UEB and all the faculty members for creating the best conditions that he could complete his missions. Dr. Quách Mạnh Hào shared that during his working time at FFB he had received a lot of help, co-operation and supporting from the staff and lecturers of FFB in his works. Also, he asserted that the achievements were made by all the staff and lecturers of FFB.

In this meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn awarded the decision to delegate the works of Dean of FFB to Dr. Lê Trung Thành. He confirmed that the responsibility of Deans of the Faculties of UEB had to be assessed by particular results and outcomes as well as outstanding differences. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn expressed his hope and trust to Dr. Lê Trung Thành that in his new position he would help FFB to continue to sustainably and strongly develop and contribute to the general development of UEB in the future.
