Theoretically, the thesis provided a systematical assessment of exchange rate policy in China before and after it joined WTO. In reality, China adjusted the exchange rate policy several times mainly from 1981 to 2008. This adjustment was thoroughly examined by the thesis. There were plenty of lessons that Vietnam could learn from China in adjusting the exchange rate policy before and after it joined WTO.
