1. European investors warn of shift away from Vietnam over restrictions

More European investors in Vietnam are considering relocating projects elsewhere if the country's coronavirus restrictions continued for much longer, the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) said.

2. Global agency proposes incentive extension for Vietnam wind power projects

The Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) proposed that Vietnam extends its incentivized feed-in-tariff (FIT) price by six months for wind power projects after October 31.

3. Microsoft abandons plan to reopen US offices amid Covid worries

Microsoft joins a growing list of major companies forced to delay their back-to-office plans. Wells Fargo, BlackRock, CNN and others pushed back their plans to reopen offices after Labor Day until October. Amazon, Facebook and other tech companies have said they won't be back in the office until 2022 at the earliest.
