UEB’s lecturers to attend the 14th International Symposium on Social Sciences and Humanities

From 22nd to 23rd November 2018, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy and Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong Lien, lecturers of Faculty of Auditing and Accounting, VNU University of Economics and Business attended the 14th International Symposium on Social Sciences and Humanities (IC-HUSO 2018) with the theme of “Humanities and Social Sciences towards Environment” was held at Khon Kaen University, Thailand.


 The symposium was attended by over 300 delegates and experts from 10 countries all over the world. The delegation from Vietnam included representatives from National Economics University, Hanoi University of Industry, Thai Nguyen University, Electricity University, Van Hien University in Ho Chi Minh City and VNU University of Economics and Business.

At the symposium, UEB’s lecturers delivered a presentation entitled "Impact of cash flow on performance of listed companies in Vietnam - Application of food industry" and "Recognition and Valuation of Heritage Assets: Best Accounting Practices in the UK". Both presentations attracted the interest of participants.

The symposium opened opportunities for exchanges between scientists with the common interest in sustainable development and environmental protection, changes in economics and politics as well as direction for future research in the ASEAN region.
