On 15th October 2009, the opening ceremony of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA Troy) training program cooperated between the UEB - VNU and Troy University, USA was solemnly celebrated at University of Economics and Business.
Attending to the ceremony were Dr. Phillip E. Lyon - Director of International Programs, Troy University, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Viet, Director of Office of Research & Partnership Development and MA. Pham Anh Tuan - Vice Director of Center of International Training & Education as well as all students of the BBA program.
The opening ceremony took place in the eager, cheerful and touching atmosphere among students as well as representatives of two colleges. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Viet and Dr. Philip Lyon congratulated BBA Troy students, gave them best wishes and sincerely sharing. They expected that the students would give their best effort to strive to become positive citizens for society. After that, representatives of two colleges drummed open the new academic year.
On this occasion, representatives of two colleges’ leaders awarded scholarships to 10 students who achieved outstanding Grade Point Average result; nine new students achieved TOEFL / IELTS certification and 3 new students made high scores in the university entrance examinations and in the public university in Vietnam.
Up to this time, number of students attending this program is more than 200 over eight intakes. Hopefully, in the new academic year, BBA Troy students will continue to obtain more success on the process of knowledge improving and practicing for a career in the future.
