That was the sharing of one of the students in the MOS Skill Development Class 1 at the Institute for Skills Education and Creative Intelligence, University of Economics and Business - Vietnam National University (UEB - ISECI). The MOS - Word Class 1 has concluded, and students have begun to make changes in their studies and work by applying the knowledge gained from this course.

MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) is the most widely used office computer skills assessment exam in the world, with over one million exams held annually. It is the only certification that confirms proficiency in using Microsoft Office office software, directly issued by Microsoft.

I started from zero, but I confidently believe that I have changed after each lesson.

In the MOS Class 1 at ISECI, the majority of students are first-year students and are participating in office computer skills training for the first time. Therefore, the instructors have made appropriate adjustments in the lessons, from the teaching speed to the amount of basic and advanced knowledge. This precision helps each student grasp the knowledge through each lesson and master their computer skills, becoming a "master" when practicing.

 

Tran Duc Tam, a student of BBA USF K3, and a participant in MOS Class 1, shared: "Before joining this course, my knowledge of MOS started from zero, but I confidently believe that I have changed after each lesson. Instead of spending hours to complete a Word task as before, I now shorten my time by half and no longer have to 'explore' each tool in Word. My assignments are also evaluated by the instructor as more organized and scientific."

"At first, I was hesitant about whether to enroll because I didn't have foundational knowledge, and I was afraid I wouldn't catch up with the other students in the class. However, thanks to my determination and the enthusiastic support of the MOS class instructor, I have gained much more confidence. The teachers are always ready to support us anytime, anywhere."

The phrase "proficient in office computer skills" used to be a significant selling point in most CVs sent to employers. Therefore, becoming a "master" of computer skills not only boosts your self-confidence but also opens up better opportunities in study and work.

 

Starting with the idea of preparing for graduation certificates, Nguyen Tien Vu, a student of BSBA TROY K22, joined the MOS - ISECI course to fulfill the "duty" of a university student. However, after only the first 4 lessons in the MOS - Word skills, Vu had a different perspective on the importance of these skills. He shared: "From the start of the course until completing the first 4 lessons of Word skills, I feel that my ability to present information has improved. I also feel more confident when other students in the class ask about Word tools that they don't know."

Vu added: "The MOS class at UEB - ISECI is fully equipped with the necessary facilities and equipment such as laptops, projectors, air conditioning, etc., making studying convenient and comfortable.
