On 20th April 2015, representatives of VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) had a meeting with Prof. John Luke Gallup and Ms Joyce Hamilla - Director of the Office of International Partnerships, Portland State University (PSU).
Attending the meeting, there were Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development, Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Associate Dean of Faculty of International Business and Economics and MA. Hoang Thi Bao Thoa - Vice Director of Center for International Training and Education.
Representatives of the two universities spent substantive amount of time discussing plans for future cooperation, specifically, cooperation in joint training programs in the fields of Business Administration, Finance and Banking and International Business and Economics. Plan on student/faculty exchange programs were also discussed in details.
Representatives of UEB and PSU took a shot together
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their willingness to foster future cooperation. Aiming at building the long-term partnership in the future, the two universities will take the first step in drafting and signing the memorandum of understanding (MOU) shortly.
