On 31st May 2017, leaders of VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) and VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) signed the memorandum of cooperation. The ceremony took place at VNU University of Economics and Business.
Attending the ceremony, from the USSH, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Vice Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Thanh Nam - Head of Academic Affairs, Dr. Do Van Hung - Dean of the Faculty of Library Information. From the UEB, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Vice Rector together with leaders of faculties and offices.
In order to build a long-term, comprehensive and strategic relationship between the two universities, the UEB and USSH signed the MOU with 4 fields of cooperation, including: (1) Collaboration in interdisciplinary training, (2) Collaboration in enhancing teaching skills, (3) Student exchange, (4) Collaboration in organizing events.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le emphasized that the two universities are both members of VNU and holding good relationship for many years. The MOU is beneficial to both sides. Also, it creates favorable condition to promote inherent strengths of the two universities. He hoped that the MOU will mark the beginning of a long-term, comprehensive cooperation between the UEB and the USSH.
Ending the ceremony, representatives of the two university agreed to jointly organize a number of training programs. The two sides also agreed on the plan to implement and undertake activities in the future.
