On 12th May 2017, the delegation of the Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU), Germany had a working visit to VNU University of Economics and Business.
Attending the meeting, from HNU, there were Prof. Olaf Jacob - Vice Principal, Prof. Ulrike Reisach - International Management and Corporate Communications, Prof. Heiko Gewald - Director of the Centre for Research on service science, Mr. Roland Amann - Science Manager, Department of Information Management together with 16 bachelor students participating in the field trip in Vietnam. From the UEB, there were Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, Dr. Nguyen Thi Vu Ha - Deputy Head of Office of Research and Parnership Development, Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh - Vice Dean of the School of Business Administration, Dr. Nguyen Cam Nhung from Faculty of International Business and Economics and 4 students of the Faculty.
At the beginning of the meeting, representatives of the two universities introduced basic information about the universities, fields of research, international cooperation as well as exchange of students and lecturers. In her talk, Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu shared detailed information about UEB’s activities in the fields of green growth, international integration, business administration, including information management.
In addition, with the experience of attracting and receiving international student in exchange activities, the UEB is willing to receive and support HNU’s students in their short courses and academic/culture exchange in Vietnam. The two universities agreed to sign the letter of intent to outline the terms and conditions for student exchange activities.

End of the meeting, Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu and Prof. Olaf Jacob signed the letter of with the following contents: exchange of academic information/materials, reception of experts/researchers, exchange of students, co-organization of conferences, co-conducted research and engaged in a number of activities oriented by the two universities.
