Recently, on 26 April 2016; leaders of VNU University of Economics and Business (VNU-UEB) had a meeting with representatives from HSE to investigate cooperation possibilities between the two institutions.
The delegation from HSE included professors and lecturers from faculties: Computer Science, Economic Science, Business Administration, Economics, International Cooperation Center, Basic Research Center. From VNU-UEB were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Son - Rector and Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development.
On behalf of VNU-UEB, Rector - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Son sent warm greetings to the delegation from HSE. Then, Dr. Le Trung Thanh introduced to the guests about training and research activities that VNU-UEB were implementing as well as achievements of the university through international cooperation.
On behalf of HSE, Mr. Boris Zhelezov - Deputy First Vice-Rector also shared with VNU-UEB on training specialties, research orientation and typical cooperation programs of HSE. Mr. Boris Zhelezov sent their sincere thanks for the warm welcome from VNU-UEB as well as highly valued the cooperation accomplishments that VNU-UEB had achieved with international partners. However, since VNU-UEB has not established any collaboration with Russia partner, Mr. Boris Zhelezov hoped to become the first Russian partner of VNU-UEB.
At the meeting, representatives of both universities discussed opportunities for cooperation in training and research, including short-courses for business leaders or MBA students of HSE, event organization towards joint publication or joint research. He also expected that the two universities would continue to exchange information to implement cooperation activities in the coming period.
