From 28-30/11/2018, Assoc Prof. Tran Thi Thanh Tu, Dean of Banking and Financial Faculty, VNU University of Economics and Business, Fulbright scholar at the University of Massachusetts Lowell has visited Merrick school of Business, University of Baltimore.
Assoc Prof. Tran Thi Thanh Tu has a meeting with Prof M Murray M. Dalziel, Rector of Merrick school of Business, University of Baltimore and Assoc Prof. Nguyen Huy Hoang on the training and research cooperation opportunity between two universities. The rector of Merrick school of Business, University of Baltimore really appreciates the training reform program in Vietnam and he is impressed with the number of 1000 undergraduate students with 600 students in high-quality bachelor program who are enrolling VNU University of Economics and Business every year. The students in high-quality program can approach subjects in their majors in English and the training syllabus follow the programs in the US, UK and Australia universities.
Assoc Prof. Tran Thi Thanh Tu and representatives of Merrick school of Business, University of Baltimore have obtain agreement on cooperation in undergraduate and graduate training programs with the purpose to maximize the students’ benefit. The research majors are also discussed to seek the cooperation opportunity between two universities.
On this occasion, Assoc Prof. Tran Thi Thanh Tu also make a presentation with graduate students on “Corporate management in Banking – After crisis experience in US and lessons for Vietnam: This is also a part of her short - term research program ASEAN - US Fulbright at University of Massachusetts Lowell.
