In October 2018, Assoc.Prof.Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Dean of Faculty of Finance and Banking, VNU University of Economics and Business started her 4-month research program at Manning School of Business, University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMASS) as the scholarship arwardee of The Fulbright US- ASEAN Scholar Program of The State Department.
As one of the 10 scholars from 10 the ASEAN countries attending the Fulbright Program in 2018, Assoc.Prof.Tran Thi Thanh Tu will perform her research on “Corporate Governance in banking – Experience of USA after global financial crisis and lessons for ASEAN countries. This is in-depth research topic of research program “Corporate Governance in banking in the ASEAN countries” taken by the UEB strong researchers group from 2018 to 2019.

This is a valuable opportunity for Assoc.Prof.Tu to experience the international standard research environment and learn research, teaching experience from American professors.
