With a curriculum framework designed to be closely integrated with practicality, the Faculty of Development Economics (FDE) of the University of Economics and Business - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (UEB - VNU) organizes annual study tours for students starting from their first year. In 2023, there is an additional special point with the participation of students from Chiang Mai University (CMU), Thammasat University (TU), Thailand, and Mai Chau District, Hoa Binh Province, as the practical destinations.

The University of Economics and Business has adjusted the university admission methods in 2023 as follows:

From May 4, 2023, University of Economics and Business opens the direct admission of 90 places in the BSBA Troy for candidates with qualified International English certificates (minimum IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 72, B2 CEFR) and satisfy the admission qualification.

From May 4, 2023, University of Economics and Business opens direct admission of 90 places of the BBA-USF program for candidates with qualified International English certificates (minimum IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 72, B2 CEFR) and satisfy admission requirements of the program.

Hi! I am Creative Thinking Module and here is my story in UEB-VNU.

Increasing academic interactions between Vietnamese and international students is one of the greatest opportunities for student to access new environments, reassert their individually and confidence, as well as enhance their chances for global integration. In recent years, the University of Economics and Business – VNU and the Faculty of Development Economics in particular have worked to internationalize their educational programs. This activity contributes to that effort by fostering an environment where students can grow comprehensively and confidently and make strides toward becoming global citizens of the future.

Giving students the experiences of international learning environment, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Development Economics, VNU-UEB joined the study tour to Chiang Mai University, Thailand.

The Embassy of Poland is the important partner of the VNU-UEB for many years with many cooperative activities being implemented. To express the gratitude to the Ambassador – Mr. Wojciech Gerwel at the end of his term, on November 30, 2022, representatives of the VNU-UEB and its students paid a visit to the Embassy.

On October 26, 2022, Times Higher Education (THE) announced the results of the THE World University Rankings 2023 by subject. Accordingly, VNU was ranked in 6 out of the 11 subject areas with two subjects climb up.
