Purposes and missions:

Purposes: Study the dumping prevention of Vietnam exports in the U.S. and E.U. markets; some lawsuits on price war; to analyze the damaging effects on Vietnamese manufacturing firms; Based on the findings to extract lessons and to propose solutions to protect and assist them to deal with foreign lawsuits.

Missions:

+ To systematize the general theory on dumping protest.

+ To analyze some real situations of some American and EU price war lawsuits against Vietnamese companies.

+ To utilize experiences faced by China, Korea, and Thailand, to propose some solutions to protect Vietnamese enterprises to deal with foreign lawsuits against price war.

New contributions:
  • To clearly analyze some American and EU lawsuits against Vietnamese enterprises in price reduction unfair trade practices of the following commodities: Tra fish, Basa fish, frozen shrimps, leather hats, leather shoes and bicycles.
  • To propose solutions to assist Vietnamese enterprises in dealing with price war lawsuits.
