UEB's students won Third Prize in the prestigious Euréka Award competition

From November 26th to 28th, 2020, the 22nd Euréka scientific research contest was held at Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of hundreds of teams from many universities all over the country. The students from the UEB won the Third Prize in the field of economics.

The Euréka Award Competition is a nationwide contest, which gathers groups of students with excellent scientific research records at universities. “Euréka” in Greek means “I have found (it).” The award always encourages all Vietnamese students who have a passion for scientific research and are studying at universities, colleges, and institutions. Euréka can be said to be a prestigious scientific award for students.

 

The team from VNU University of Economics and Business with two students Nguyen Thuy Nga and Pham Thi Ha Giang from the Faculty of Development Economics participated in the competition. Their research work was “Land valuation based on the application of hedonic pricing and the geographic information system (GIS) in Tu Son, Bac Ninh, guided by Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen An Thinh, Dean of the Faculty of Development Economics, and PhD. Nguyen Van Hong - Lecturer of Faculty of Development Economics.
