“I am grateful to connect the top universities in Poland with the UEB”

This was the first meeting between University of Economics and Business and Warsaw School of Economics, Poland
This was the sharing of Poland Ambassador in Vietnam after connecting many top universities in Poland with VNU University of Economics and Business. Recently, the meeting between Warsaw School of Economics, Poland (SHG) and VNU University of Economics and Business took place on July 16th, 2020.

The meeting had the attendance of Mr. Wojciech Gerwel, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Viet Nam. From Warsaw School of Economics, there were PhD. Jacek Prokop, Vice Rector, and Ms. Małgorzata Chromy, Director of Center for International Cooperation. From VNU University of Economics and Business, there were Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le- Rector; Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Viet Khoi, Director of Center for International Training and Education, and MA. Nguyen Duc Lam - Deputy Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development.

Cooperation between two top universities

The online meeting between two Universities had attendance of Ambassador of Poland

VNU University of Economics and Business is a member of Viet Nam National University, Ha Noi which is the No. 1 University in Vietnam. Currently, it has the cooperation with more than 40 major universities in the world. Every year, dozens of lecturers participate in seminars and exchange programs at universities around the world such as Seoul National University, Korea; Uppsala University, Sweden; Osaka University, Japan; Cracow University, Poland ...

Multidimensional cooperation

At the meeting, leaders of the two universities agreed to promote international student exchange about 1-2 semesters or within the framework of Erasmus project to promote educational cooperation between Europe and Asia. The two sides agreed to jointly train Bachelor, Master, and Transitional Training (2 + 2 or 3 + 1).

In addition, two sides agreed to jointly organize conferences, seminars and short- term courses to promote educational and economic cooperation between Poland  and Vietnam.
