On 28th January, 2015, representatives of VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) had a working session with the delegation of Siam Cement Group (SCG).
To be present at the working session were Dr. Truc Nguyen Le, UEB Vice Rector and staff of Office of Research and Partnership Development. From SCG, there were Mr. Worrachon Dulyavitya, Mr. Phakyadar Taychamanoon, SCG in Thailand; Ms. Tran Thi My Yen, Ms. Le Thi Thuy Vy and Ms. Luu Thi Thanh Thao, SCG in Vietnam.
In the opening session, Dr. Nguyen Truc Le had an overview of the UEB’s goals, development orientation and cooperation programs with partners inside and outside the country. Then representative of SCG had an introduction about SCG in Thailand and member companies in Vietnam, its business fields and outstanding achievements as well; expressed the hope to work with international partners, including VNU-UEB.

At the working session, the two sides had discussed some cooperation plans in the upcoming time; namely, SCG would facilitate the UEB students to undertake the internship and field trip programs at SCG, finance them to carry out scientific researches and provide students of excellent bachelor's degrees with opportunities to work for SCG.
The two sides expressed the hope that cooperation programs would be implemented soon, especially international internship programs for Vietnamese students at SCG Thailand in 2015, including the UEB students.
