The delegation was led by Dr. Anil Puri, Dean of Mihaylo College of Business and Economics, and Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tam, Consultant of International Programs, Board of Governors and MBA lecturer, University Extended Education, a member of the CSU.
From UEB, there were Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Head of Office of Research & Partnership Development, MA. Hoang Thi BaoThoa - Deputy Director of Centre for International Training &Education and officers in charge of international affairs and officer of Research &Partnership Development.
Opening the meeting, Dr. Le Trung Thanh introduced UEB as well as the different systems of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. With the objectives of becoming the leading research-oriented university, UEB desired to expand deep cooperation with renowned universities in the world.
California State University has already had long-term cooperative relation with the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. Being one of the members of CSU, California State University - Fullerton is a reputed public university which was established in 1957 and ranked by US News & World Report in the top 10 public universities in the West of United States for master training programs. Among the members under the California State University - Fullerton, Mihaylo College of Business and Economics is ranked as the largest Business School of California State and the 5th largest one in the United States; also ranked by US News & World Report for "Best Business Program".
Talking with the representatives of UEB, Dr. Anil Puri, Dean of Mihaylo College of Business and Economics said that currently the California State University - Fullerton has been running some cooperative activities with Foreign Trade University in developing advanced training programs, and he expressed his desire to establish partnerships with UEB, especially in the field of high-quality education and training for master, student and faculty exchanges,... UEB in general and the Centre for International Training and Education in particular are eager to promote cooperation with CSU - Fullerton in the soonest time.

End of the meeting, the two sides agreed to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to officially set up cooperation partnership, at the same time develop detailed plan for the implementation of collaborative activities in the future.
