In the framework of cooperation between University of Economics and Business – VNU and Uppsala University of Sweden, Faculty of Finance and Banking (FFB) and Uppsala University hold the seminar “The dark side of trust and the bright side of working alliances in financial services” at Room 801 E4 Building in the morning of 10th April,201
The seminar was presented by Dr. James Sallis – Senior lecturer of Department of Business Studies of Uppsala University of Sweden. Participants included Dr. Sallis’s colleague Ms. Caroline Lof; Dr. Le Trung Thanh – Standing Associate Dean of FFB, lecturers and students of FFB.

In a comfortable atmosphere, Dr. Sallis mentioned risks in working alliances in financial services which affecting customers and financial advisors. He also helped the students to realize that finance is not only related to numbers or cashflows but also related to psychology, laws, etc.
At the end of the seminar, Dr. Le Trung Thanh represented FFB to sincerely thank Dr. James Sallis for his meaningful sharing and expressed the hope of further cooperation between FFB and Uppsala University in general and Dr. Sallis in particular.
