Attending the meeting, from VNU, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - President, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Bao Son - Vice President together with leaders of functional offices. From VNU University of Economics and Business, there are Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le – Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Vice Rector and heads of offices.

 

The meeting aims at specific objectives with supportive sharing and contribution

Opening the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Truc Le welcomed VNU's delegation to join the discussion on renovation of teaching activities. He said that, following the innovation program of VNU, the UEB also apply some “Trial innovation” and hoped that the trial will be evaluated and supported by VNU. Besides, he wanted to receive suggestions from leaders of VNU on enhancing the quality of training programs when all of them are transferred to high quality replacing the standard ones.

Next, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Tu - Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Banking presented a proposal for innovating the curriculum in the coming school year. The proposal focuses on a number of issues such as renewing the training program, reforming the form of internship, renewing the method of evaluation and innovating student research activities etc. Especially, building E-learning system, so that, by 2020, at least 2 subjects will be taught by this method in each major.
