Short-term training course for Sri Lanka students - UEB confirms its international reputation

From 12th to 14th June 2019, 129 graduate students from Kelaniya University, Sri Lanka took a short course on "Multinational company and investment environment in Vietnam" at VNU University of Economics and Business.


This course lies within the framework of the cooperation plan between the UEB and University of Kelaniya (Sri Lanka), undertaken by lecturers of the Faculty of International Economics and Business.

"Multinational companies and Business environment in Vietnam" is a key topic research undertaken by the Faculty of International Business and Economics. MBA learners from Sri Lankan are eager to learn about the topic, especially in Vietnam.

During the course, the students from Sri Lanka attended the lectures on: (1) "The business environment of Vietnam from financial perspectives" by Dr. Nguyen Cam Nhung, (2) “Business Strategy of Multinational Companies (MNCs) in Vietnam” by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Kim Anh, (3) “Business Case study related to Vietnam Business Environment” by Prof. Joseph.

After the lectures, the students took the field trips to Toyota Company (Vinh Phuc Province) and Samsung Electronics Vietnam Company in Bac Ninh. These are foreign enterprises that have invested in business in Vietnam and creating many jobs for local people. In addition, the delegation also visited Xuan Hoa JSC and Son Ha Group - Vietnamese companies, which have exported various kinds of products to markets around the world.

 
 
 
 

At the end of the course, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector of the UEB and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ha Van Hoi - Dean of the Faculty of International Business and Economics awarded the certificates to students who completed the course.
