At the conference, Dr. Vu Duc Thanh has presented the implementation of the academic year mission plans in major fields such as training and research activities, cooperation and human resource management. Accordingly, the faculty has basically completed the mission plan of academic year 2013 - 2014, especially their priority tasks.
In the last academic year, the faculty has flourished in training activities. Together with good operation in teaching, the faculty finished their review of the basic syllabus of the Economics subject, providing students with an academic base before entering professional study. Scientific research has been strengthened in terms of both quality and quantity. The faculty has two state-level research projects, one international project and three articles published in international journals of ISI, Scopus.
The academic year summary report also pointed out the going tasks, some of which are not completed on time and need transferring. The dean said, the faculty would strive to complete all the tasks until the end of the academic year.
After the discussion between the faculty and other UEB’s offices, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son has concluded the conference, suggesting some tasks to the faculty leaders such as improving the quality of training, increasing the attractiveness for students, inspiring scientific research, completing management apparatus of the faculty.

Expectedly, all the rest of UEB faculties namely Business Administration, International Business and Economics, Political Economy and Finance - Banking are holding their review. Major fields the UEB, which are training, research and cooperation are reviewed before the UEB closing conference of academic year 2013 - 2014 taken place.
 At the VNU University of Economics and Business, the planning task has become a routine activity, which draws the attention of the UEB leaders and staffs, assisting the university in fulfilling all the schedules objectives.
From the academic year of 2013 - 2014, the research activity of the university is conducted and reviewed by fiscal year. Therefore, besides the planning for the 2014 - 2015 academic year, the UEB offices and faculties will develop another plan for the fiscal year of 2015.
