Valuable experiences for Osaka students in Vietnam

On 8th November 2018, students from Osaka City University, Japan were divided into 6 groups to visit the Daikin factory - one of the most famous Japanese brands operating in Vietnam.


Previously, on 7th November, the students discussed at the the hall 801 of the UEB on entrepreneurship. The discussion focused on Japanese enterprises investing in Vietnam, the model, operation methods and business strategy.


At the field trip, students of Osaka City University was accompanied by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Dang Minh and over 30 students of the School of Business Administration. Leaders of Daikin was extremely happy to meet Japanese students in Vietnam. After that, the students were guided to learn about the business model and strategy of Daikin - the leading Japanese air conditioner manufacturer. Since its establishment in 2008, Daikin Vietnam has been growing for 10 years and creating jobs for tens of thousands workers for many years.

Student Pham Phuong Tay, who led the delegation said: students of Osaka City are very excited to come to Vietnam to learn, especially to visit the factory after the lectures. This helped them to learn faster and had practical experiences. On 9th November, the School of Business Administration will hold the symposium on lean management in universities in Vietnam, the symposium will be attended by Osaka students.
