Strengthening cooperation with Trinity College Dublin, Ireland

On 13rd November, 2014, Leaders of VNU University of Economics and Business had a meeting with Dr. Michael Flynn, Director of MBA Program, School of Business, Trinity College Dublin (TCD), Ireland.



Attending the meeting were Dr. Nguyen Truc Le, UEB Vice Rector, Dr. Le Trung Thanh, Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development, MA. Hoang Thi BaoThoa, Deputy Director of Center for International Training and Education (CITE).

In the framework of cooperation between the two institutions, UEB and the School of Business, TCD signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in October 2014, laying the foundation for new partnership.

Trinity College Dublin, one of the oldest universities in Europe, has very high rankings in the region and in the world (ranked the first in Ireland and ranked 65th in the world by QS World University Rankings 2011). Notably, the School of Business, Trinity College Dublin is ranked 16th in European region and 30th in the world.

During the visit, Trinity College Dublin and UEB discussed the plans to implement cooperation activities in training, research, EMBA program (Executive Master of Business Administration) and a number of short training courses...
Talking with UEB’s leaders, Dr. Michael Flynn emphasized that the School of Business in particular and Trinity College Dublin in general will always focus on the training program quality, in which the program scale might be small or medium but the quality of the outputs will be the first priority of Trinity College Dublin.
At the end of the meeting, the representatives of UEB in general and CITE in particular, expressed their desire to promote the joint programs between the two sides at the soonest time.
