The annual Study Encouragement Scholarship Fund of the University of Economics and Business - VNU (UEB-VNU) bestows this honour upon exceptionally gifted students with exemplary academic and vocational accomplishments.

The course “Information Systems and Data Analytics” (IS3310) delivered by Dr. Jeffrey Bohler is always hard hunted by UEB-Troy students because of its high applicability, diversity in learning methods, and full of interests.

With the desire to encourage and motivate students who have good achievements, enthusiasm in learning, training and scientific research, on November 28, 2022, University of Economics and Business - VNU (UEB-VNU) held the Happy Money Scholarship Award Ceremony sponsored by NANO Trading and Affiliate Joint Stock Company (Korea). This scholarship will be a great source of spiritual motivation for UEBers with more determination, effort and confidence to achieve future successes.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen An Thinh, who is Dean of Faculty of Development Economics – VNU- UEB, is honored one of the top ten Vietnamese citizens for environmental protection activities from 2019 to 2021. He was awarded with the 2021 Vietnam Environmental Award by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for his outstanding contributions and accomplishments in "Education, training, communication, consultation, advice, and oversight of the implementation of environmental protection policies and laws."

Students of the joint training programs at the UEB will be subject to five new scholarships from the Fall semester of 2021.

The newbies of the UEB, Le Thi Duong Ngoc and Dang Quynh Chi have won the ADF scholarship (Asia Development Foundation Scholarship Fund) value up to 2,000 USD. The UEBers have proven that opportunities are always open to all students with youth - bravery - enthusiasm.

Recently, two UEB’s students, Ngo Thi Ngan (QH-2020-E Economics) and Le Thuy Trang (QH-2020-E Finance and Banking) won the scholarship lighting up your future founded by ACCA and Deloitee.

“This is the most important milestone in my student life…”, “All my efforts and determination during the past years have paid off…”, “I feel happy, proud and grateful…” Those are the sharings of three UEB’s students when they found out that they won the IMG scholarship – one of the most valuable one for UEB’s talented students.

Recently, the Yamada Scholarship Fund awarded 50 scholarships to VNU students, including 6 students from the UEB. Each scholarship is worth 200 USD (about 5 million VND).

From the academic year 2020-2021, McGill University and Québec University (Canada) will grant the research scholarships for students of Faculty of Development Economics, VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) with a total value of 18,000 USD in 3 years (2020-2022). The scholarship will be awarded directly to senior-year students with the best graduate thesis.

VNU University of Economics and Business announces the student exchange program at OTH Regensburg University, Germany, one of the largest universities in applied science field in Bavaria.

On 24th April, 2019, the Lotte Scholarship Foundation of Lotte Group, Korean held the 23rd Scholarship Ceremony in Vietnam to award 80 students with outstanding academic achievements from VNU and other universities in Hanoi with a total value of scholarship up to USD 24,000. Five excellent students of VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) received the Lotte scholarship this year.

Nguyen Thi Nhan – graduate from Faculty of Banking and Finance, VNU University of Economics and Business has won the master scholarship at the National University of Pusan. She shared with us her journey of getting the scholarship.

On 3rd March 2019, a ceremony to award students who won prizes at the 2019 Bangkok International Intellectual Property, Invention, Innovation and Technology Exposition (IPITEx2019) was held at VNU University of Economics and Business.
