Research the system of intellectual property related to trade and economic issues that arise during the implementation of the agreement on TRIPs in Vietnam, thereby the author suggested some proposes to facilitate this process in the context of international economic integration in Vietnam.

- Studied intellectual property, agreement on TRIPs and some international experiences of some countries related to the implementation of this agreement.
- Studied the establishment and development of the trade-related intelectual property system and the implementatin of the agreement on TRIPs in Vietnam.
- Studied the development trend of trade-related intellectual property system in Vietnam and proposed a number of measures to facilitate the implementation of the agreement on TRIPs in Vietnam in the coming years.
New contributions:
- Analyzed impacts of the implementation of the agreement on TRIPs for Vietnamese economy in the integration process via specific case studies.
- Calrified the development trends of trade-related intellectual property in Vietnam and proposed measures to improve the implementation of the agreement on TRIPs in Vietnam in the years to come.
