Many theoretical issues of logistics were presented in the thesis such as concept, nature, procedures, content and legal basis. The current situation of logistics in Vietnam was studied. The experience of how logistics is applied by some other countries around the world was considered to withdraw lessons for Vietnam.
New contributions:
The thesis proposed main measures to overcome difficulties when logistics is applied in import and export by Vietnam. The author also recommended a number of ways to develop logistics specifically in foreign trade in Vietnam.
