Purposes and missions: Based on a research to assess and analyze the effects of international economic integration on Vietnam steel industry, especially the newly spin-off factors in the process of integration, which will affect some specific areas such as markets, production structures, product lines, environment and labor force...of steel industry after Vietnam becoming a member of the WTO.
- Thence to propose some policy solutions and recommendations. This essay, therefore, aims to solve these following issues:
- The current shortcomings in steel industry in the process of international economic integration
- The effects of international economic integration on steel industry
- Some solutions and recommendations focusing on the development of steel industry
New contributions:
- To analyze and assess the effects on steel industry in the process of international economic integration of Vietnam; its contribution on steel industry now and then; from that point bring up the opportunities and challenges facing steel industry.
- To offer some tendency predictions in steel industry development and supply demand.
- To propose some general solutions, recommendations and policies for the development of Vietnam steel industry.
