Purposes and missions:
Purposes: Based on the systematized theory and reality of Vietnam insurance industry and the assessment of its development and integration levels, this essay proposes solutions for developing this industry to meet the requirements as a member of the WTO:
+ To study the international insurance industry developments and the effects of the open-door financial policy to insurance industry as well as to the economy
+ To study all aspects of Vietnam insurance industry and to assess new opportunities and challenges in global integration
+ Based on the study of general theory and reality to make necessary proposals
New contributions:
- To analyze the importance of insurance industry in the context of Vietnam’s participation in the WTO.
- To assess the development process of Vietnam insurance industry from 1993 to present; to propose suggestions to promote this industry’s growth so as to fulfill its important role in economic development.
