The UEB is moving forward with its mission in offering the “education of international standard, independent thinking with traditional value”. This is what the university aims to give to its students and learners, offering the high quality human resources for the society and become the research-oriented university ranked among the top university in the region.

 

Throwback to its development from the Faculty of Political Economy under the Hanoi University in 1974 to the Faculty of Economics, University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the currently VNU University of Economics and Business, the university has contributed to the education and training field for over 50 years with generations of teachers and students.

 

 

With its current strategy of education internationalization, the university strived to offer its students the training programs of international standards with various opportunities of studying and internship abroad.

Sharing about this strategy, Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Truc Le, Rector of the University said: In the new context of international integration and globalization, the UEB has tried its best to train the next generations of Vietnamese youth, persistent with the five key values: Quality and effectiveness, encouraging creativity, building success, maintaining harmony and respecting differences.

 

As announced by the QS World University Rankings, for the first time, the business and management studies of Vietnam National University, Hanoi was ranked among the top 501-550 universities worldwide, the VNU is also the first university ranked in this field. Among VNU’s members, the UEB is proud to contribute greatly to this achievement.

 

From the academic year 2020-2021, the VNU University of Economics and Business implements the business administration training program for sport talents. This is an outstanding training product of the university, which provides knowledge in business administration as well as practical skills and updates in sport management for athletes, giving them more job opportunities after retirement. The program also shows the social responsibility of a national university for the national sport cause.

 

To contribute to its internationalization strategy, the UEB also coordinated with prestigious international universities to develop and implement the joint training programs such as the Business administration bachelor program with Troy University, the bachelor and master program in business administration with St. Francis University. The programs give its students the opportunities to study in Vietnam and obtain the international degrees.

 

Besides, the University also promotes the international publication, raising the number of paper published in ISI/Scopus, enhancing the academic reputation of the University among international network. With various training programs, conference and seminar, exchange and sharing, the university has created the most favorable condition for its lecturers and students to learn and share from their international colleagues.
