VNU University of Economics and Business pursues the flexible training curriculum which embedded various field trips and study tours for the students during their studying. Through these activities, the students have chances to visit the physical environment where they will be working on as well as understand the required knowledge and skills of their future jobs.
Throughout their college time, UEB’s students will take part in a number of study tours and field trips to corporations, businesses and partners of the university. Following are some activities of UEB’s students in the early 2021.
The field trip to Hai Phong of the Faculty of International Business and Economics
Leading the students in this trip to Hai Phong is PhD. Pham Thu Phuong – Lecturer and academic advisor of the Faculty. The trip last for 2 days with scheduled visits to Hai Phong DST Aluminum Factory, An Dong Shipbuilding JSC., Hai Phong Port JSC., Tan Vu Port and 131 Navy Brigade.
Exchange with Navy Soldiers
During the trip, the students had chances to eye-witness the operation of a real industrial manufacturer, being explained about its scale and expenses. In particular, at the meeting with 131 Navy Brigade, the students listened to stories of the soldiers accomplish missions despite difficulties and hardship.

Office Tour at Mazars Auditing Company
It is a dream for students majoring in accounting, auditing and finance to visit the large auditing firms during their study. On April 22, 2021, the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing collaborated with ICAEW Vietnam and Mazars Auditing Company to organize the Office Tour (as a part of student internships) for the intake K63 majoring in Accounting. The tour gave the students opportunities to explore the real working place of professional auditors and listened to sharing from leaders of the company.
Students' questions were answered by Ms. Dao Phuong Thuy - Senior Business Development Manager from Mazars Vietnam Co., Ltd.
Students of Faculty of Finance and Banking to take internship at PvcomBank
The experiences working at a bank are valuable to students major in Finance and Banking. Aiming at giving students the chances to work as a banker, the Faculty of Finance and Banking cooperated with PVcombank to organize the internship program for UEB’s students. Through this program, students of the Faculty will be guided by senior bankers and get the chance to become an official staff at PVcombank after graduation.
