The Vietnam Annual Economic Report comprises a series of economics reports annually published in order to summarize major economic issues in the previous year, provide an economic outlook for the coming year, and propose policy recommendations. The report was firstly introduced in 2009 by the VEPR of the VNU-UEB. The report is a valuable and reliable source of reference for managers, researchers and policy makers as well as all those who are concerned about the current macroeconomic situation in Vietnam.

While the report of 2014 focused on analysis and research of Vietnam economic growth in middle and long term, this year, the report entitled “Integration Opportunities, Integration Challenges” highlighted opportunities and challenges of Vietnam in the context of globally integration with various of free trade agreements being finalized.

Apart from the two first chapter evaluating the world and Vietnam’s economy, the report focus on deep analysis of TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) impacts to Vietnam, regulation of exchange rate, security of banking system and stability of Vietnam rice industry in the context of globally integration. Accordingly, the report gives general evaluation and proposes policy suggestions.
