Vice Rector of Troy University Dr. Curtis H. Porter announced Decision on Graduation
On 8th August 2008 Troy University (US) together with University of Economics and Business - VNU and University of Polytechniques held a ceremony to award bachelor degrees for 18 students attending the training course in cooperation programme of Troy University (US) in Vietnam, five among who are UEB students.
At the solemn ceremony, there were authorities of the three universities, teaching staff in the training programme by Troy University in Vietnam, as well as guests, parents and friends of students. On behalf of UEB - VNU were Vice Rector of the UEB Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hong Son, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Viet - Head of Cooperation and Development Department, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Manager of International Cooperation Programme.
After the speech of universities’ authorities congratulating on the students’ ecxcellent completion of the course, 18 new bachelors were in turn confered the honorable BBA degrees by Vice Rector of Troy University Dr. Curtis H. Porter.
Five students of UEB attending this course: Hoang Hong Ha, Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc, Nguyen Huong Giang, Nguyen Hoang Linh, Nguyen Anh Duc got their degree in this ceremony also. These are brilliant students among those of the 2nd course of the cooperation programme. Hopefully, holding a BBA degree by such a prestigious university as Troy, they will find themselves a suitable job with lots of promotion oportunities, living up to expectations of their parents and College.
The ceremony ends in a convivial atmosphere, students taking photos with their relatives and lecturers.
