Speaking at the signing ceremony, Rector of VNU University of Economics and Business Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le said UEB was promoting collaboration with large enterprises so as to provide students with more job opportunities for internships, and to equip them with marketable skills required after graduation. With such a digital media company as VMG Media Group, UEB would like the two sides to collaborate to organize media training courses, especially digital media ones, for students.

 

Mr. Tran Binh Duong - General Director of VMG shared that the company was proud to be the leading institution in digital content and data technology in Vietnam. VMG hoped that the collaboration between the two sides will benefit both the company and the university, helping VMG to find talents for the company in the future.

 

Vice Rector Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Anh Thu shared that since UEB and VMG shared many common values, collaboration could take place in many fields such as digital transformation and change management. VMG could also take part in a start-up competition Business Challenges Season 5 in the second branch of the competition.

 

This year, Development Economics was transformed into a high-quality training program to meet international standards, and to provide students with in-depth orientation on Data Analysis, Economic Policy, Green Economy, etc., said Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen An Thinh - Dean of Faculty of Development Economics. To achieve this goal, working with enterprises like VMG - a leading institution in terms of technology, digital content, data, and analysis is vital.

 

 

 

 

At the signing ceremony, heads of departments from both sides contributed many constructive ideas in deploying collaboration. Its content mainly focuses on opening short-term courses, co-organizing conferences, workshops for listening to comments from enterprises about training programs, and considering open specialization, namely administration, communication, business, digital economy, etc.

 

Besides, students attending the ceremony were fascinated with the opportunity to work for VMG; they also would like VMG to open skill-training classes for UEB students to help them to be well-equipped when graduating.
