The representive of University of North Alabama visited VNU-UEB

On Aug 12th 2013, Dr. Vu Anh Dzung, Vice Rector of VNU University of Economics and Business welcomed and worked with Prof. Kerry. P. Gatlin - Dean of Business Department, University of North Alabama (United States).

At the meeting, the two institutions exchanged the opportunities of creating master joint training programs such as Master of Business Administration (MBA) in general or other programs specializing in human resources, finance, marketing,...  the advanced master degree in business administration (EMBA) or collaborative opportunities in short term training courses.
According to Prof. Kerry.P.Gatlin, both MBA and EMBA programs have different candidates. In particular, the MBA program of the University of North Alabama requires students to pass the GMAT exam instead of requiring working experience. For the EMBA program, instead of requiring the GMAT, students need to have 6 years of working experience.
Introducing to representatives of University of North Alabama about cooperative activities of VNU-UEB, Dr. Vu Anh Dzung also talk about the provisions for international joint training programs which is currently being implemented in university (such as the capacity requirements for teachers, foreign language ability of students...) . The agreement of the basic content will facilitate the development of future collaborative program.
At the end of the meeting, leader of VNU-UEB confirmed the desire for long-term partnership with a prestigious university as the University of North Alabama. Two representatives also agreed to continue to discuss the development and implementation of cooperation programs.
