On 19th October 2010, Prof. Nguyen Hong Son - Vice Rector of UEB warmly received and had a working session with President of Benedictine University, Mr. William J.Carroll and delegation.
Prof. Nguyen Hong Son expressed his pleasure to welcome Mr. William J.Carroll, especially in the occasion of 1000 years anniversary of Ha Noi. Mr. William J.Carroll also shared his enjoyment when coming right in the event. He hoped to receive Prof. Nguyen Hong Son at Benedictine for the coming future. Prof. Nguyen Hong Son had planned to visit Benedictine University by next year.

At the meeting, the two sides have exchanged information on training programs of Benedictine University and University of Economics and Business, joint training programs and prospects for future cooperation. Representatives of two universities have agreed on the organization planning of 1st course graduation and enrolment for 2nd course. Mr. William J. Carroll was particular interested in international joint training program organized by UEB. Both sides discussed on cooperative programs with emphasis on master's programs.
Concluding at the meeting, on behalf of UEB Management Board, Prof. Nguyen Hong Son invited Mr. William J. Carroll and his delegation to visit Ha Long Bay, Vietnam’s renowned world natural heritage. Mr. William J. Carroll pleasingly accepted the invitation and hoped to be shared useful information through the trip.

Joint bilingual MBA program between Benedictine University (USA) and University of Economics and Business - VNU has enrolled 4 classes including 136 students. The program is attracting more students who expect to study in-house MBA program of international standards with bilingual form assisting students in approaching the subject more easily.
