Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand) to cooperate with UEB

On 8th January 2010, leaders of University of Economics and Business - VNU had a working session with representatives of Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on developing continuing training in Bachelor and Master of Business Administration.

Working with representatives of AIT, including Dr. Barbara Igel - Dean, Dr. Do Ba Khang - IEMBA Lecturer and Dr. Pham Thi Kim Ngoc - IEMBA Coordinator in Vietnam, were Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh - Vice Rector of UEB, Head of Research & Development Cooperation Dept., Faculty of Business Administration, Coordinator of 16+23 BBA and MBA Program.

This was the second time when AIT representatives visited and worked at UEB. At the working mission, participants discussed on the recognition of UEB’s BBA curriculum and MBA continuing training with AIT. Accordingly, AIT is to support UEB lecturers in participating in training courses and the instruction of BBA, MBA curriculum with AIT lecturers.

Additionally, AIT also agreed to sponsor scholarships for outstanding students of this cooperative program.

To conclude at the working mission, leaders of AIT and UEB gained an agreement on signing an MOU in the near future to launch a long-term bilateral relation. Besides, AIT and UEB continued the discussion to sign a cooperative agreement in BBA and MBA continuing training.
