High-quality human resources are always a key factor in promoting the development of an organization. This is also one of the issues that the Thanh Xuan District Party Committee (Hanoi) focuses on. With the mission of leading in training and applied research, University of Economics and Economics (UEB) has connected with Long Bien District People’s Committee to promote training activities and develop highly qualified human resources for the locality, contributing to the common development of the country's prosperity.
At the meeting, from the VNU-UEB, there were Assoc.Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector of the University; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Head of Academic Affairs; Dr. Nguyen Duc Lam - Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development; MA. Thai Thi Minh – Deputy Director of Center for International Education and Training (CITE).
From Long Bien District People's Committee, there were Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha - Chairman of the People's Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang - Head of the Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Le Thanh Xuan – Head of Finance and Planning Department; Mr. Nguyen Quang Toan - Chief of Office of the People's Council.

The university has constantly promoted the development of educational quality toward international level, providing a dynamic and creative environment with attractive and modern training programs, support learners to become experts, leaders and managers in their field” said Prof. Nguyen Truc Le.
The UEB hopes to accompany the Long Bien District People’s Committee to support and orient all staffs of the District People’s Committee in educational program with many outstanding advantages in the undergraduate and graduate systems, especially the joint training programs such as: UEB-Troy Bachelor of Business Administration (joint training with Troy University, USA); UEB - USF (joint training with St. Francis University, USA) and Master's Programs which have been receiving great attention due to its value. With these programs, the UEB-VNU willing to bring the best environment to help learners not only acquire knowledge and gain experience, but also be able to apply it to solve problems in real life quickly, scientifically, expand the network of relationships and partners, maximize capacity to become talented leaders in the future.
The representative of Long Bien District People’s Committee was also pleased to be able to accompany the University of Economics and Business, VNU – an institution with many years’ experiences in training undergraduate and postgraduate It is hope to launch cooperative program soon, bring effective results to both institutions and build up qualified staffs and contribute to overall development of the country.
