With an open learning environment, VNU University of Economics and Business offer frequent exchange programs for undergraduate and master students.
For the first time, students of the first intake of the joint training program with St. Francis University had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Wojciech Gerwel - Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Vietnam. This is an opportunity for students to gain practical experience, acquire practical knowledge, exchange ideas with leaders and business partners, expand their knowledge as well as the network to support their learning and future career path.
The meeting had the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector of UEB - VNU, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Viet Khoi - Director of Institute of Skills Education & Creative Intelligence, Dr. Nguyen Duc Lam – Head of Office of Research and Partnership Development, MSc. Thai Thi Minh - Deputy Director, Center of International Training and Education. Throughout the program, students not only had cultural exchanges, but also listened to the Ambassador's sharing about business opportunities with Europe and Poland as well as cooperation activities between the Embassy and the UEB in the future.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Anh Thu sent her sincere thanks to Mr. Wojciech Gerwel for creating opportunities for MBA-USF students to learn about Poland's development in the post-pandemic context as well as opening up new cooperation opportunities between VNU-UEB and the Embassy in the near future.
Through the meeting, the Ambassador also shared his perspective on the global economy, especially the potential for post-pandemic business expansion from the "economic gateway" of Poland. He wished to promote the cooperation between the two countries as well as with the UEB – one of the leading universities in Vietnam.
